Made from scratch authentic German cuisine. The Gasthaus sources local ingredients. Known for pretzels, schnitzel, rouladen, a variety of German beer and wine, and fresh baked desserts.
Chef Kenny is first generation American. In 2013 he opened Weiss’ Gasthaus with his mother Christine. Born and raised in the town of Mainz she moved to America when she was 18. Chef Kenny spent his summers with his Oma and Opa in Germany. Many of the dishes are from recipes passed down from generation to generation.
The Gasthaus underwent a major renovation in 2021 including the addition of a Biergarten, Bar, and Deli/Merchandise room. While improvements to the building were made one thing remains the same. Our commitment to bring fresh authentic German food to our guests leaving their belly’s and hearts full.
